YMP hosts first-ever artist retreat

On the weekend of September 9-11, YMP hosted our first-ever yonsei artists retreat in the Central Valley of California. Under the brightness of a full moon, we gathered with nine amazing creatives who traveled from LA, the Bay Area, and the East Coast to share art, memories, questions, laughter, tears, and our collective dreams for the future of our community. Thank you to Kellee Matsushita-Tseng, Tani Ikeda, traci kato-kiriyama, Sydney Shiroyama, TT Takemoto, and Erin Aoyama for taking this creative leap with YMP! And a huge thanks to Milton Chen and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trustee Fund, whose funding and support of AAPI-led initiatives made this retreat possible.
