Yonsei Memory Project visits gila river

In November, 2019, YMP will take part in the annual clean-up of the gila river japanese american concentration camp in arizona and offer a series of programs in honor of the pilgrimage.

 

Nov 2: Memory Crafting

2PM - 4PM, Vintage Gardens, Fresno, CA. Join us to create “memory crafts” that we will take with us on our journey to Gila River. Flyer here.


Nov 14: Gila River Healing Circle

5:30PM - 7:30PM, Vintage Gardens, Fresno, CA. All generations welcome. Our “healing cirlce” will create a space for dialogue across generations about how we understand the incarceration of our community during World War II. Come to learn, listen, and share. (You do not have to be directly connected to Gila River to participate). Flyer here.
